Editorial policy
Sources are linked
News articles based on a public report link to that report. Articles written originally by CarbonUnits do not link to a source.
AI drafts, editors publish
Our news articles are drafted with the help of an AI model from a source report. An editor checks each draft before it is published. Drafts that contain figures not found in the source are held back until they are corrected.
Figures must be traceable
Numbers in our articles should appear in the source or in a registry or regulator's public record. If we cannot trace a figure, we do not publish it.
Advertising
Some pages show advertising in slots labelled Advertisement. Some of it promotes businesses in the Green Earth Group. Advertising does not decide what we cover or how we report it.
Corrections
If something we published is wrong, tell us at info@carbonunits.com. We correct errors when we confirm them.
